Korean drama Squid Game took home three top prizes at the 2022 Screen Actors Guild Awards. Lee Jung-jae won Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series, while Jung Ho-yeon won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series. The cast also won the award for Outstanding Action Performance by Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series, but the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series was given to Succession.

The Netflix drama continues to rewrite TV history since the day of its release. Squid Game was the first non-English series to be nominated for a SAG award. The series follows a group of desperate individuals who compete for a cash prize while playing deadly children’s games.
