Covid’s global death toll surpasses 5 million people

As of last November, more than five million people around the world have died of the coronavirus, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. Such a loss is almost the size of the entire population of Barcelona, Spain, or most of the nation of New Zealand.

However, the real number of people who died of COVID-19 could be as high as twice the reported figure, experts say. Countries like India are unable to accurately record deaths from the virus, while the accuracy of some countries’ data is doubted.

The U.S. has reported the highest number of deaths, with more than 745,000 confirmed in total, followed by Brazil, India, Mexico, and Russia.

The famous actor died of lung cancer yesterday.

1:She died from a car accident last week.

2:She died from smoking too much.
