台灣房價漲不停：付更多，空間卻變小 The rising price of housing in Taiwan: pay more for less space

There is no end to the rising price of housing in Taiwan. According to a survey, we are spending more on housing but getting less space.

Between January and October this year, the median price of a residential apartment in Taiwan’s municipalities reached NT$11.55 million, up 9.4% on a yearly basis. However, while people are spending more on housing in the past few months, the median size of houses they purchased decreased by 5%.

For example, people who bought a condo in Hsinchu City this year had to pay NT$1.22 million more for a smaller space compared to a year ago.
