美籍籃球員順利歸化入籍台灣！ American basketball player becomes Taiwanese

　
29-year-old American basketball player William Artino received his Taiwanese ID after completing his naturalization, becoming the second American athlete to do so. He would be allowed to represent Taiwan in international games.

Though Artino did not have to give up his American citizenship to be naturalized, he said that it has been a difficult process and a long wait, during which other nations reached out with their own offers. But he turned away all the other countries because he likes the cultural environment of Taiwan.

Artino, whose main duty was to play for the nation, said that he looked forward to the day when he could put on a jersey and represent Taiwan.
