夯劇「魷魚遊戲」在巴黎舉辦快閃活動供影迷體驗 ‘Squid Game’ opens a two-day pop-up store in Paris

Squid Game, the Korean drama series that premiered on September 17, has become a global phenomenon within two short weeks. It is the most successful non-English language original content on Netflix ever, according to the streaming giant.

Netflix opened a 2-day pop-up store in France, which only ran over the first weekend of October. The experience center in Paris was decorated with several sets of “Squid Game” and attracted fans from all over Europe. Visitors waited in line for more than two hours to join in the special event. It allowed them to take pictures with red-suit guards and take on the little cookie challenge as in the show.

The nine-part thriller is about a deadly survival game in which 456 participants compete at the price of their lives to win the grand prize of 45.6 billion Korean Won, nearly 1.1 billion TWD.
