Bib Gourmand list honors value-for-money food米其林必比登名單公佈 表揚平價美食

The Michelin Guide announced its annual Bib Gourmand list for Taipei and Taichung, with a total of 91 eateries. In fact, the Bib Gourmand list only identifies restaurants offering a three course meal for a fixed price not exceeding NT$1,000, complementing the Michelin Guide, which awards restaurants one, two and three Michelin stars.

The list this year includes Taiwanese, Chinese, Indian and Indonesian cuisine, showing that the cities’ culinary scenes are becoming more diverse. Some owners of the newly selected restaurants were surprised to be included in the prestigious guide and said that it was an encouragement to time-honored restaurants.
