台灣跟YouTube平台合作向國際聽眾推廣台灣的音樂 Taiwan collaborates with YouTube to promote its music to global audiences

　
The Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA), affiliate of and supervised by the Ministry of Culture, announced a program in mid-March to collaborate with YouTube to promote Taiwanese pop music.

Five famous Taiwanese artists and bands, including singer-songwriter Crowd Lu, R&B singer Julia Wu, award-winning hip-hop musician Leo Wang, heavy metal band Flesh Juicer, and pop band 831, will feature in a series of online showcase videos. These videos will be presented with multilingual subtitles for global audiences to enjoy the music more easily.

In partnership with YouTube, TAICCA will collect the analytics provided by the platform and utilize big data to help the music industry in Taiwan develop greater creative output value. Viewers’ behaviors and preferences will be a good reference for future marketing campaigns. The project aims to bring more Taiwanese artists to the world.
