【Taipei, November 6】Taiwan’s College Entrance Examination Center has announced that the General Scholastic Ability Test (GSAT) for the 2027 academic year will take place from January 22 to 24, 2027. Registration closes on November 10, and late applications will not be accepted. Registration for the second sitting of the high school English listening test is also open until November 10, with the test scheduled for December 12. With only 77 days left before the GSAT, high school seniors have entered the final stretch of their preparation.
Seventy seven days may sound like plenty, but the period also includes the second round of school midterm exams and the second English listening test. Once these are taken into account, little time is left to focus fully on GSAT English.
Timed with the Singles Day shopping festival, TutorABC Teens, a leading online English learning brand for junior and senior high school students, today launched its GSAT English Sprint Program. Students who purchase during the Singles Day period receive up to 12 percent off and up to 22 complimentary GEPT preparation lessons, along with a free English level assessment before classes begin, helping seniors spend their final 77 days on what matters most.

Parents can also sit in on live lessons through the app and watch full recordings afterwards, while education consultants provide regular progress updates, so families stay informed throughout the sprint.

The TutorABC Teens teaching and research team commented: “With just over two months to go, the biggest problem is not a lack of time but time that is broken into pieces. Midterms and the second listening test come one after another, leaving only a few evenings a week for GSAT English. If students first get translation and writing, the two sections that make the biggest difference, up to a solid level, and then earn a GEPT certificate right after the GSAT, their application materials will be ready in time.”
The TutorABC Teens GSAT English Sprint Program is now open for booking. Singles Day purchases receive up to 12 percent off and up to 22 complimentary GEPT preparation lessons, plus a free English level assessment before classes start, helping senior students make the most of the last 77 days before the GSAT.

Q1. With 77 days left, is it too late to start preparing for GSAT English?
No. The key is to find what needs work first. The free English level assessment, aligned with the CEFR, identifies each student’s level in vocabulary, grammar, reading and writing, and instructors then plan lessons around weak areas so the final 77 days go where they raise scores most.
Q2. What is the Singles Day offer?
Purchases of the TutorABC Teens GSAT English Sprint Program during the Singles Day period receive up to 12 percent off and up to 22 complimentary GEPT preparation lessons, plus a free English level assessment before classes start. Add the official LINE account to book a trial and ask about the offer.
Q3. Midterms and the listening test fall right before the GSAT. How can lessons fit in?
Lessons can be booked 24 hours a day and taken at home with no commute. Students can book fewer lessons during exam weeks and more afterwards, so the sprint follows the school calendar and even short windows of free time can be used.
Q4. How does the program help with GSAT translation and essay writing?
Live online co-writing sessions with Cambridge framework certified instructors and bilingual teachers review sentence structure, argument logic and transitions line by line, correcting literal translation and thin arguments in class so students can rewrite right away instead of waiting one to two weeks for feedback.
Q5. How do the free GEPT lessons help with university applications?
After GSAT results are released on February 25, students move on to application portfolios and interviews. The complimentary GEPT lessons cover all four skills with extra focus on speaking and writing, so students can prepare for the GEPT right after the GSAT and add an English certificate to their portfolio. Parents can follow progress through live sit-ins and lesson recordings in the app.
