Charanek Charanek
I view teaching ESL as an opportunity to provide others with the language skills necessary to interact with the global English-speaking community. I find that these language skills are best developed in students by establishing an active relationship with at least one language instructor, whereby the student and teacher spend regular amounts of time together on a weekly basis, plus a certain amount of independent study, where for example, the student allocates a specific block of time per week to go over the lessons covered with the teacher and to watch and read other English supplementary material such as news, recommended books, or business-related reports and articles, depending on the level and interests of the student.
